Eight Major Trends Affecting Floriculture Today

Horticulture students win regional honors
The OSU Horticulture Judging Team placed first overall at the 67th Annual Southern Region American Society for Horticultural Science, Association of Collegiate Branches competition.  In addition to the overall victory, the team placed first in judging greenhouse floral and foliage plants, third in vegetable crops and second in fruit and nut crops. Individually, Ellen Weatherholt placed first overall, first in woody ornamentals and second in greenhouse floral and foliage plants. Laura McDonald placed third overall, and Annie Crockett placed first in judging greenhouse floral and foliage plants.
